Loop & Row ("we", "us") is a mobile app that helps crocheters and knitters manage their pattern library, track project progress, organise their yarn stash, and discover or sell patterns through our designer marketplace.
This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using the app, you agree to the practices described here.
When you create an account we store your email address and the display name you provide. During onboarding we also ask for your preferred craft type (crochet, knit, or both) so we can personalise your home screen.
You can update your profile at any time in Settings, and you can delete your account permanently from Settings → Delete account.
Patterns, project progress, notes, progress photos, yarn stash entries, collections, and pattern annotations are stored securely in our database and linked to your account.
If you upload a PDF pattern, the file is stored so you can view and annotate it inside Project Mode. Cover images are generated from the first page of your PDF or from an image you upload.
If you set up a designer store, we store your store name, bio, logo, banner, social links, and the patterns you choose to list for sale.
Your store information and listed patterns are visible to other users browsing the marketplace. Sales records (buyer email, pattern, amount, and date) are stored for you to track earnings.
Pattern purchases and designer subscriptions are processed by Stripe. We do not store your full card number or banking details — Stripe handles all payment information securely.
We store transaction records (amount, pattern, buyer email, and Stripe identifiers) so you can view your purchase history and designers can track their sales.
We use analytics to understand how the app is used — for example, counting sign-ups, patterns added, and subscriptions started. This helps us improve features and measure growth.
Analytics events are aggregated and do not include personal crafting content such as your notes or photos.
Your data is stored on Base44's secure backend infrastructure. Access is restricted to authenticated users — you can only see and edit your own patterns, projects, yarn, and collections.
Listed marketplace patterns and designer stores are publicly visible by design, so you can sell to other crafters.
You can access, edit, or delete your data at any time within the app. Deleting your account removes your patterns, projects, yarn stash, collections, and designer store.
If you have questions about your data, you can reach out through the support channel in Settings.
Loop & Row is a crafting tool and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us information, please contact us and we will delete it.
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we'll update the date at the bottom of this page and, for significant changes, notify you in the app.
